About Appsycamoreway
We assemble ledgers for people who keep their own written record of cold-storage holdings — no screens required during reconciliation.
Registered Business
Appsycamoreway Co., Ltd. operates from Office 8, 38 Sample-ro, Chuncheon. The company was established in 2019 by ledger bookbinder Ji-won Park and archivist Min-seo Han, who met while working on document preservation projects at a regional cultural archive in Gangwon Province.
How We Started
In 2018, Ji-won was binding custom notebooks for a local accounting firm when a client asked whether the same column layout could work for tracking Bitcoin addresses on paper. The request was unusual, but the need was clear: cold-storage holders wanted a durable, offline record that did not depend on a connected device.
Min-seo brought archival paper sourcing and fade-resistance testing. Together they prototyped three ledger formats over six months, testing page weight, column width, and binding durability with a small group of early adopters in Seoul and Chuncheon. Appsycamoreway registered as a limited company in March 2019 and has operated from the same Sample-ro office since.
What We Do Today
We hand-assemble paper trail kits, print refill pages, produce address label sheets, and offer one-hour consultations on balance-recording habits. Every kit passes a six-stage quality check before shipping. We serve individual holders, family offices, and small partnerships across South Korea.
Our Approach
- Materials first: acid-free paper, pigment ink, lay-flat binding — chosen for decades of shelf life, not quarterly turnover.
- No data collection: we do not store your balances, addresses, or reconciliation data. Kits arrive blank.
- Human assembly: no third-party fulfilment. The person who folds your pages may answer your follow-up email.
- Local roots: paper sourced domestically where possible; workshop based in Chuncheon.
